Project Year: 2017
Location: Alpine Lake, Neverland
Description: A study of minimal living spaces and human ergonomics in architectural design.
The task concentrates on a minimal living space which provides all the essential needs and spaces for a person to live. It provides one bedroom, a bathroom and a shower, a living room and one additional watching/working/sitting area. The unit is elevated and it is accessible through a ramp. It provides a space of 30sqm . The design is organised around a central core, which serves as the supporting structure for the entire unit as well as the service core. The design enables a 360 degree view of the surroundings.
The design is located in an imaginary remote alpine lake, where the occupant can enjoy a meditative experience, away from the stress and noise of their everyday life.
